Flowing through S.S.S.I grassland at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds,
Mulberry-Whin is over 1 mile of Double Bank Chalkstream fishing.
Forming part of the nationally renowned "Driffield West Beck",
the river is spring fed from numerous smaller streams.
Although well-stocked Mulberry-Whin has many wild trout as well. They
are clearly visible moving between the numerous swaying fronds of
weed in the beautiful clear water making this an ideal location for
the discerning angler on what has been described as one of
the best stretches of Chalkstream Fishing available in the U.K.
This superb stretch of well maintained water is one which few have
been allowed to fish in the past. From 2002, Mulberry-Whin became
available for the first time ever on a strictly limited day ticket
basis with booking essential.
